Life: Proof That God Loves Me (No Beer Involved)

On Monday I went to a doctor for help with my ear ache. He wrote a scrip for a tiny bottle of antibiotic that cost me a hundred-and-eighty bucks.

At the pharmacy, they reminded me that I hadn’t gotten my shingles shot last fall. I went back yesterday and did the deed. I was expecting to pay over $100. The actual cost was $215. I did it anyway.

The pharmacist told me to come back to her in 10 minutes to show I wasn’t in allergic shock. So I wandered the supermarket. I wasn’t even thinking about the beautiful rainbow I had seen on my way to work that morning.

I bought a scratch-off lottery ticket.

I won 500 bucks.

But you already know how Special I am.
