Media: Breaking point: is the writing on the wall for the paragraph? | Media | The Guardian

Every time I start reading writing like this recently, I feel like screaming:

The people who complain about other people not having a long enough attention span — or having enough patience — usually turn out to be, in a word, very BORING. And they think we should all waste our time – however long it takes – waiting for them to complete a thought. Because they’re just so goddamn interesting, I guess.

Well, they’re not.

Interest has to be earned — in print, if not at the bank. I say: You provide no interest, you deserve no attention.

Long live the Interwebs!
