Life: Explained. (Sorta.)

Comment on Why are people in their late twenties anxious about figuring out their life and career?

Actually, now in my late 60s, I do feel like I have a lot of it figured out. Finally. How The World Works.

Ironically, now that I know most of the answers, nobody is asking me the right questions. I’m starting to feel like The Smartest Guy In The Room [Lorne Michaels]. So I’m looking for the right room.

A Few Hints:  We are each nothing but thoughts, feelings and memories.

The journey is the destination (or: The trip is in the tripping, as we said in the Sixties.)

Life is fetching water, chopping wood [Zen].

And I’m not any happier or unhappier on this side of it all than I was on the other side. Go figure.

Oh, and this:

1. Don’t sweat the small stuff.

2. It’s all small stuff.

I’ll see you on the road.
