Today TLAFMT wanted to get to a session at the Y starting at 10 So last night she told Siri to set an alarm. Other times, I think she had a doctor office visit and sometimes she has to get up and do things with grandchildren. All of these things only occur very infrequently, and she hasn’t learned or hasn’t been able to schedule them later in the day. So she sets her iPhone.
The irony to me is that she sets her phone via Siri very easily, and then places it on top of her plugged in digital alarm clock for the night. Which makes me think of another advantage: The phone alarm will still work even if the power goes out!
(I thought I had bought an alarm clock with battery back up, but last week that didn’t work as expected. Oh well. Technology marches on!
